The Majority Caucus in Parliament has undertaken a significant change in its leadership following the appointment of Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson as the Minister of Finance.
Dr. Forson’s transition from his former role as Majority Leader necessitated the changes to ensure continuity and strengthen the leadership team.
Mahama Ayariga, the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, has been appointed as the new Majority Leader, succeeding Dr. Forson with Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan, the MP for Cape Coast South, now serving as the Deputy Majority Leader.

Additionally, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, MP for South Dayi, has been named the new Majority Chief Whip, replacing Governs Agbodza.

Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah, MP for Ada Constituency, takes over as First Deputy Whip, while Richard Acheampong, MP for Bia East, assumes the role of Second Deputy Majority Whip.
