Dr. Forson’s transition from his former role as Majority Leader necessitated the changes to ensure continuity and strengthen the leadership team.

Mahama Ayariga, the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, has been appointed as the new Majority Leader, succeeding Dr. Forson with Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan, the MP for Cape Coast South, now serving as the Deputy Majority Leader.
