The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Malik Basintale, on his first day in office at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) head office has fired a warning at staff members.
On Monday, January 27 Malik Basintale wasted no time in setting the tone as he takes over as the newly appointed YEA boss.
Speaking to some staff members of the YEA Malik Basintale stated, There shouldn’t be any fear, I have one mandate, that is to achieve in delivering jobs the the unemployed youth, it is very dear to my heart”.
“What I don’t like and I keep saying is that if your intention is to make money or look for money then today, you better resign, and then go home, we are not here not look for money, we are here to work and make his excellency the president of the republic of Ghana John Mahama proud”, he added.
Before Malik Basinate took over at the YEA he announced on social media on X yesterday January 26, 2025, invited the youths to gather at the YEA.
According to Malik Basintale, he is a street boy and is not going to leave anyone behind.
He wrote on X, “I am a product of the street and we’re not leaving anyone behind! Hence, Dear 5k MEN, 3k women, far rangers, bodycams team, Cock and hold unknown rangers, fire flames, Okada ningers etc. Feel free to join me assume work at the YEA HQ tomorrow Monday at 10 am 😊🙏🏽 Let’s build the Ghana we want together!”.
In a video shared by TV3, some NDC youths were captured cheering as they awaited the arrival of the Basintale boy.
Malik Basintale was appointed the CEO of YEA by President John Dramani Mahama, his appointment was met with enthusiasm by members of the NDC youth wing.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians on social media have boldly told Malik Basintale there is nothing wrong with making or looking for money, according to them the main reason people work is to make money but the most important thing is making the money legally.
