Prof. Ransford Gyampo, a Professor of Political Science at the University of Ghana has been named the CEO of Ghana Shippers Authority.

Prof. Ransford Gyampo was appointed by President John Dramani Mahama.
Kwesi Baffour Sarpong the former CEO would be succeeded by Prof. Ransford Gyampo.
The former CEO was only appointed by the Akufo-Addo government in December 2024.
Prof. Gyampo, a recognized academic and political analyst is expected to bring his expertise in governance and public administration to the leadership of the Authority.
