Speaking to the media A-Plus stated, “The NPP leadership is not a serious one, and I am making that very clear to them, they are not serious they don’t know what they are about, and I think they have not gotten over the defeat that they encountered not long ago”.

“I had to go where I was wanted, where they were serious about running a country, a day after the elections Ato Forson called me, and indicated that he wanted me to caucus with them, it took a long time for the NPP to approach me through Kennedy Agyapong”, he revealed.

The NPP has however denied ever meeting Kwame A-Plus, the General Secretary of the NPP stated on X, The NPP has not met with A-Plus, nor has it authorized anyone to convey any message to him on its behalf”.

This grants the NDC a two-thirds majority, enabling them to push key legislative reforms and policy changes.

Meanwhile, the NDC has retained its leadership team for the 9th Parliament, majority leader being Ato Forson, deputy Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Majority chief whip Governs Kwame Agbodza and his deputy Ahmed Ibrahim.
