The wife of Ghanaian media personality, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani the host and CEO of KOFI TV and Radio Miracle Adomah, her husband can now see with one eye.
Reports emerged some days ago that Kofi Adoma is seriously injured after being shot in the eye.
According to a Queen mother and a wife to Kofi Adomah, Kofi Adoma received a call from one of the people from Dormaa to come and take a coverage of Dormaahene’s traditional event.
She narrated, “ My husband and his people reached their destination and were given a hotel to sleep and it was led by Dormaahene’s niece Linda on their arrival.
The next day…they went to the event. The traditional gun that was supposed to be Shot in the skies Shot in the crowd and unfortunately, it hit my husband’s face and even the camera he was using to cover the event was spoilt”.
She further detailed, “My husband started rolling on the ground with blood. He was rushed to the hospital in Sunyani and his eyes were washed 20 times and they came back to Accra. I was so worried to see my husband in that state”.
Doctors did their best. His one eye was seeing from the start but later both were affected and all he saw was darkness. We have two hospitals abroad… one in the UK and one in Dubai. The UK was so expensive because they were charging in pounds so we chose Dubai, we went and by God’s grace, we are in Ghana now safely but at the moment, only one eye can see. We have come to prepare ourselves financially well to go back for another treatment”, she added.
Miracle Adomah further revealed that the Dormaahene has not even called, and indicated they have videos and pictures of what happened.
According to her, Kofi Adoma was not deliberately shot by some unknown armed people.
