US Ghanaian based social commentator, Kevin Taylor has dropped a new revelation about former President Akufo-Addo’s daughter Gyankroma Akufo-Addo.
According to him, Gyankroma and her boyfriend Steven Okoro are still enjoying from proceeds of corruption earned from former President Akufo-Addo’s government.
In a post on his X page, Kevin Taylor claimed the Gyankrom was building a billion dollar apartment complex on government land.
Kevin Taylor added that to divert attention from the project, Gyankroma has handed the project to two Lebanon nationals who are fronting it.
Research by yawanews.com reveal that the apartment complex dubbed ‘La Casa Grande’ is a project of i2 Development headed by Nabil Al-Ahmad who according to their website is the company’s Founder and Youseef Aitour who is the company’s Co-Founder.
Kevin Taylor’s post on X read, “Gyankroma and her boyfriend Steven Okoro’s new investment. Do you know the land they are building this on is where the old Ghana airways plane was parked which is also a government land? These are the guys fronting for theme I will be back.”
Akufo-Addo’s daughter Gyankroma has been embroiled in a number of corruption scandals ever since her father, assumed office till he left.
Amongst other allegations, she has been accused of having mismanaged state funds as a board member of the nation’s Creative Arts Council, with some Ghanaians also demanding she is investigated in connection with the procurement of ambulances and some spare parts for the state.
