Ghanaian politician and actor, John Dumelo has shared a heartwarming farewell message to his father who passed away yesterday, January 3rd, 2024.
According to John Dumelo, he had only gone to visit his father yesterday upon his behest and had lengthy conversation with his dad who advised him to “serve diligently in government.”
Just 10 minutes after leaving his father’s home, he was called back that his father had taken a turn for the worse.
His father, Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr had been sick for some time but he become “unresponsive” and died after being rushed to the hospital yesterday.
John Dumelo who has always spoken highly of his father and acknowledged the role he played in making him who he is today took to his official X page to extol his late father.
In the post, he shared words of appreciation of the kind of man his father was to him.
“Thanks for being my father, thanks for being my best friend, thanks for being my number 1 cheer leader and thanks for everything you did for me,” portions of his post read.
John Dumelo described his father who died at age 75 as a man who “you lived your life well.”
