Bernard Mornah, the Flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC) has stated it would be a bad appointment to appoint him as an ambassador.
According to Bernard Mornah, he lacks diplomatic acumen.
He asserted that he speaks his mind on issues so he might cause a diplomatic uproar if he is appointed as an ambassador.
Speaking on PM Express on Joy News on Tuesday, January 21, Bernard Mornarh stated, “It will be a bad idea I am not sure I have the diplomatic acumen, I speak my mind on issues, so making the mistake of appointing Benard Mornarh as an Ambassador”.
“If I go to any country, and they are not doing what I think is logically right for the people of Ghana and Africa I will speak my mind and I may cause a diplomatic roar, just as I am in total opposition to ECOWAS approving a road map, for the Sahel countries of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger to exit the ECOWAS”, he added.
Bernard Mornah further reiterated, “If you appoint me as an Ambassador I may speak against the continuous inclusion of Faure Gnassingbe and Togo in ECOWAS to the exclusion of Mali and Niger”.
Meanwhile, Bernard Mornah has stated that President John Mahama is not obligated to include members of the PNC in his government, despite the party’s support in the 2024 elections.
