“Some of you wanted to stage a coup against him. Of all that he did for you to gain power, you still wanted to remove him.”

He further emphasized that his side of the house had played a crucial role in ensuring Speaker Bagbin’s return.

“It took the prayers of our side to get him back to this house,” he declared.

Daring those he accused to defend themselves, he added, “Challenge me. Take a Bible or a Quran and swear that you did no such thing.”

Afenyo-Markin expressed gratitude for Speaker Bagbin’s return, attributing it to divine intervention.

“By the grace of God, you are back,”
