Yayra Koku, the Acting Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authority (NIA) has exposed Annoh-Dompreh over his claims he never provoked the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle.
Annoh-Dompreh on the floor of parliament stated, “A lady I have never met in my life, only later to be told she is Victoria Emefa Hardcastle, acting CEO of Petroleum Commission, Speaker, I didn’t say a word to her, I didn’t provoke her in any way. Suddenly, insults were being hurled at me”.
According to Yayra Koku, he was sitting right next to Emeafa Hardcastle when the altercation started and it is a big lie Annoh Dompreh did not provoke him.
In a social media post on January 28, 2025, Yayra Koku wrote, “Luckily, she was sitting next to me. You came to talk to Dr. Omane. She suggested you go back and vet the nominee.
Your response was, ‘We will not vet him today.’ You guys haven’t seen anything yet.”
She replied, “You are a micro minority; what can you do?”
Then he said, “You call me micro minority? I will deal with you in public.”
She answered, “Who are you to deal with me?”
It is therefore a BIG LIE that you did not provoke her.
Meanwhile, Frank Annoh Dompreh has filed a complaint against Emefa Hardcastle, accusing her of insulting him.
