Samuel Ayeh-Paye, the member of parliament for Ayensuano Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has advised Ghanaian youths who can earn and save 500 cedis not to think about travelling abroad.
According to Samuel Ayeh-Paye Ghanaian youths who can earn 500 cedis at the end of the month must not think about travelling abroad.
He revealed that when he completed his schooling he worked as a teacher at a private Junior High School and he learnt how to cut down on his expenditure.
Speaking on JOY Prime Samuel Ayeh-Paye stated, “I want to advise any young person listening to me if you even work and save 500 cedis at the end of the month don’t travel abroad which is possible, I met some of my mates, but I did not get the opportunity to go to secondary school, I attended Technical school and learned trade”.
“I decided to further my education, I went to the Polytechnic today the Technical University, and I have gone to get my degree and my master’s. When I completed school I was teaching at a private Junior High School at Taifa Junction the money that I was getting I cut down my expenditure to the extent that I started saving right from there”, the member of parliament revealed.
Meanwhile, the latest Afrobarometer report has revealed that at least six out of ten Ghanaians have expressed a desire to travel abroad in search of better opportunities.
According to the 2024 Afrobarometer report, these individuals have considered leaving the country, mainly to better their financial conditions.
