The member of parliament for North Tongu Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa has reacted to his nomination as minister-designate for Foreign Affairs.
According to Ablakwa, he is not going to let Ghanaians down, he further expressed his enormous thanks to President Mahama.
President John Mahama in a statement released by the Acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, dated January 21, 2025, nominated Okudzeto Ablakwa as the minister-designate for Foreign Affairs.
Ablakwa reacted to the news on the social media page on X posting a short profile of himself.
He also stated on X, “ I am enormously thankful to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for nominating me to serve as Ghana’s Foreign Minister”.
“My solemn pledge is to diligently assist President Mahama in championing Ghana’s best interest at all times, with unquestionable patriotism, innovation and integrity”, he added.
He further expressed his gratitude, “Immense gratitude to my family, North Tongu, NDC, and all amazing Ghanaians for the incredible support throughout the years. I won’t let you down. Let’s do it, for God and Country”.
