Special Aide to President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has expressed unwavering dedication to her role, emphasizing her commitment to the President’s vision for Ghana.
She revealed that, despite facing challenges that nearly led her to resign on multiple occasions, her belief in President Mahama’s leadership and the nation’s progress kept her steadfast in her position.
Mogtari’s comments come amid President Mahama’s recent ministerial appointments, where he has pledged to limit his cabinet to 60 ministers.
Notably, he has nominated Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson as Minister for Finance, John Abdulai Jinapor as Minister for Energy, and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine as Attorney General and Minister for Justice.
‘’Don’t forget that every work environment has a lot of difficulties, many aspects that most people never get to see. I’ve probably had many occasions when I probably almost left the job. And because I am one person who has many options, I could even go and manage my mom’s school’’.
Speaking in an interview on GHone joyce Bawa addressed speculations about her aspirations for a ministerial role, according to her she has never sought personal favors from President Mahama
‘’You’d be surprised that I can analyze all sorts of things for John Mahama and never ask for anything for myself. And I hope that I remain that way. I have not thought about it because you see, fortunately, I believe that looking at my qualifications, I’m someone who can serve in many, many, many, many capacities.’’
She considers it a privilege to serve under his administration and remains open to contributing in any capacity that aligns with her qualifications and the nation’s needs.
‘’It’s been a privilege and an honor to serve a man of such enormous, enormous glory of God. It’s been an honor and a great privilege. I mean, I probably would have missed my blessings many times over.’’
