Regional Minister-designate for the Oti Region, John Kwadwo Gyapong has disclosed that he had ten (10) kids.
He made this revelation during his appearance before the Appointments Committee on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
During the preliminary round of vetting, he was asked to introduce himself.
After sharing insights into his educational background, he added, “I am a married man with 10 kids,” he smiled in reaction to an inaudible comment passed by the someone in the Committee.
The regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Oti Region added that presently he is a farmer and businessman.
John Kwadwo Gyapong is an astute politician, having served in the past as Member of Parliament (MP) for the Akan Constituency.
The Appointments Committee is currently vetting nominees for Regional Ministers. If they are successful during vetting, these nominees will be sworn into office to start their their work.
