Director of Operations at the Presidency, COP Kofi Boakye (RTD) has denied claims of sending ‘his boys’ to cause disturbances at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
According to him, he only sought to bring calm and order at Terminals 2 and 3 of KIA following disturbances caused some individuals.
Per his account, his swift intervention at KIA led to the protection of airport property and ensuring the safety of passengers and staff.
He urged the public to disregard all and any falsehood being peddled against his person.
“We categorically deny any suggestion that COP Kofi Boakye (RTD), Director of Security Operations at the Presidency, Jubilee House orchestrated or supported such actions. As a dedicated public servant, he remains committed to upholding peace and security.
“The public is advised to disregard these falsehoods, and we urge media outlets to verify facts before circulating harmful misinformation,” the statement read.
