The founder and Leader of Potter’s City, Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie has declared 2025 will be a very difficult year.
According to the Man of God, Politicians should not deceive Ghanaians they are going to change the country in a year.
He further called on President John Mahama not to scrap the e-levy but to maintain it and bring back the road tolls.
Speaking to his congregants on Sunday, the Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie stated, “I can tell you it is going to be a very difficult year; I told one politician don’t deceive yourself to think you are going to change Ghana in a year when the damage is deep the renovation is expensive”.
“Don’t get too excited, and don’t let people’s hopes, tell president Mahama he should not cancel the e-levy tax he will need it; I was praying and the lord told me, he said don’t let the people lead you, one of the essence of leadership is you make difficult decisions for people”, he added.
The Man of God further added that Ghanaians are already used to paying the e-levy, so John Mahama should use it to maintain roads in Ghana.
The man of God further added, “Don’t cancel it, keep the E-levy and bring the toll booths back, even develop countries they toll, bring them back”.
“America pays tolls, I was in Canada, while driving I saw two toll booths, you drive a little bit you there is a toll booth and another one there is a toll booth, sometimes it is electronic. When you ask them when, they say the road is an investment, a private company did the road and they are collecting the toll to pay”, he boldly revealed.
