President John Mahama has stated he can see how popular Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traore is in Ghana.
Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traore attended the inauguration of Ghana’s President John Mahama.
In one of his rare foreign trips, President Traore enjoyed the privileges of being allowed to wear his military uniform, carry a pistol, and have his own armed personal security.
He received loud cheers from the Ghanaian crowd.
Captain Ibrahim Traore met with President John Mahama after his inauguration.
John Mahama in a video shared on social media thanked President Ibrahim Traore for participating in his inauguration, he also expressed solidarity with the people of Burkinabe and evokes new momentum in the relations between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
President Mahama also indicated he intends to visit Captain Ibrahim Traore in Burkina Faso to thank him.
John Mahama further stated, “We are one people, you can also see how popular, Mr President is in Ghana, when he was introduced at the Black Star Square, he got the biggest applause”.
