A former Investigative Journalist and Businessman, Raymond Archer has shared his perspective on the intense scrutiny his printing press faced.
According to Raymond Archer, he believed his businesses were targeted due to my work in Europe as an international consultant for a top risk assessment company.
It will be recalled in 2020 officials of Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited pulled down a structure belonging to Raymond Archer following a redevelopment project to be undertaken at the Trade Fair Center.
Speaking in an interview on CITI FM on Face-to-face hosted by Umaru Sanda, Raymond Archer stated, “I can only think about one thing, which I wish we don’t go into, but I think, it has more to do with my work as a consultant in Europe, I work as a consultant for a very big global risk management company and became a risk advisor to one of the key project that was happening in Ghana”.
“So, I felt the way the business was targeted, I know a few things happened out there in Europe and I felt that was the reason why the business was targeted because we are all under very terrible strict contracts as international consultants, I feel that was the reason”, he added.
Raymond Archer further revealed that people in his orbit know if he decides to do something he does not do it because it benefits party A or B.
He added that he values his reputation.
“If you are in my orbit, if I decide to do something I won’t do it because it benefits A or B I actually value my reputation”, he added.
