Oliver Barker-Vormawor a Social activist has rendered an apology to the Appointments Committee of parliament following his bribery allegation.
Oliver Vormawor claimed the Appointments Committee has been demanding money from ministering appointed vetted before their approval in parliament.
According to Vormawor, his post was not intended to disparage members of the Committee.
He asserted that he was willing to pull down the post on his social media page.
Speaking during his appearance before the committee on Wednesday, January 29, Mr Barker-Vormawor stated, “I’m saying here clearly that my post was not intended to disparage members of the committee and I have not intended to say that members of this committee have received or demanded bribe from various individuals. At no point was my statement intended to communicate same and for these reasons I apologise,”
“I am happy to pull it down as the conversation has indicated and clarity has been brought to it,” Oliver Vormawor reiterated.
