President John Dramani Mahama has revealed he aims to make the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission one of the leading suppliers of chicken in Ghana.
John Mahama asserted that the farm would lead the way to encourage other faith-based organizations to realize that they can go into income-generating projects.
According to the President, a feasibility study will be conducted, and he would become the ambassador for the project to look for funds to establish the objective.
Speaking at the National Conventional of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, John Mahama revealed, “I want us to work to make the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission one of the biggest suppliers of chicken in this country. I intend to keep that promise I made, and I have already whispered some of the steps that I have started taking”.
“This farm will become an example and would lead the way to encouraging other faith-based organizations to realize that they can go into income generating projects both to generate funds for the missions and also to provide jobs for their congregants”, he added.
John Mahama further reiterated, “It will encourage faith-based organizations to look into income generations projects especially in the Agric business space”.
The president further revealed very soon they will be hearing from him by receiving some visitors who will come and start working on the feasibility study and soon he will be the ambassador looking for funds to establish the objective.
