According to the High Court, the EC must collate the results in addition to the already collated results and declare the winners.

Justice Forson Agyapong of the Accra High Court General Jurisdiction 2 said the EC declared 219 polling stations out of 281, leaving 62 polling station results outstanding in Ablekuma North in the Greater Accra Region.

The High Court judge granted a similar application of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) directing the Electoral Commission to collate constituency results for the Tema Central Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, the Okaikwe Central, Ablekuma North and Techiman South.

The Techiman South results still have some 147 polling stations to be completed.

The court has ordered the EC to collate and declare the results of two outstanding polling stations in Tema Central.

In Okaikwei Central the court has ordered the EC to complete the collation of results from 31 polling stations in Okaikwei Central, after the EC failed to finalize the process.

The High Court has also stated the EC must declare the results on or before January 6, 2025.

Meanwhile, the High Court has also ordered the Inspector General of Police to provide security during the collation.
