A netizen has boldly claimed that the education minister Haruna Iddrisu will be the reason John Mahama’s Operation Recover All Loots won’t work.
According to the netizen, Haruna Iddrisu will shield the corrupt NPP appointees under the former Akufo-Addo government.
He further asserted that Haruna Iddrisu is going to make the chairman of the ORAL committee Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa look bad at the end of the day.
The netizen named Uncle Paa Kwesi wrote on X, “Haruna Iddrisu is the reason why ORAL won’t work. He will shield the corrupt NPP guys and Ablakwa will look bad at the end of the day”.
The netizen comments come after Haruna Iddrisu (MP) chastised the CEO of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle for “insulting” Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
Haruna Iddrisu stated in parliament, “To Honourable Members, we do not, and we should not, accept such conduct and insults. Today, it is him; tomorrow, it may be you. That is why we must stand united in condemning it”
“To the Honourable Minority Whip [Frank Annoh-Dompreh], I am pleading with you that, because she is a woman, and you know Ghanaian society and our patriarchal values, forgive her”, he added.
Meanwhile, another netizen has boldly defended Haruna Iddrisu saying, “ Stop 🛑 these your baseless allegations on HARUNA. You guys did this thinking you have buried him when he was removed as minority leader just for him to grow stronger as education minister. Haruna is beyond these your pedestal politics”.
