Sam George the member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram has reacted to his nomination as the minister-designate for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations.
President John Dramani Mahama yesterday nominated Sam as the minister-designate for Communication along with other host of nominees.
According to Sam George, the Ghanaian people must get ready as Ghana is truly doing digital.
The minister-designate wrote on X, “ Yesterday, I received notification of my nomination by H.E. @JDMahama as the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations. I am immensely humbled by this opportunity to serve his government and our Nation”.
“I pledge myself to discharge this duty to the satisfaction of the Ghanaian people and admiration of His Excellency”, he added.
Sam George further wrote, “ I count on you all for constructive feedback to enable me achieve the needed changes and introduce the needed innovation into the sector. I would not fail you in my service to you. My doors are always open.
Once again, my gratitude to God Almighty, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the wonderful people of Ningo-Prampram and my beloved family. Ghana goes truly digital. Get ready!”, his statement on X added.
