Former South African president Jacob Zuma has heaped praises on President John Dramani Mahama.
Jacob Zuma asserted that Ghana and Africa needed a president like John Dramani Mahama at this time.
He revealed that historically Ghana’s President has indicated his view about what Ghana should be and what should be done.
Speaking in an interview on Channel One TV The Point Of View, Jacob Zuma detailed, “I think you needed a president like him (John Mahama) who I think historically has indicated his view about what Ghana should be and what should be done, and I think he is coming in once again was important to the Ghanaian people, probably for the continent as well”.
Jacob Zuma further revealed quite a number of African leaders want the want the continent to change from what it has been.
“Because quite a number of us want the continent to change from what it has been and I think people were feeling like we need this man, they know him fortunately because he has been around before but also he is the man”, Jacob Zuma added.
Meanwhile, John Dramani Mahama has been assembling his government after he was sworn in as Ghana’s president some days ago.
