Gender Minister-designate, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey missed her swearing-in ceremony at Jubilee House due to a late appearance.

Agness Naa Momo Lartey was expected to be sworn in by the President on Friday, January 24, 2025 together with five others.

The Member of Parliament for Krowor due to her late arrival to the swearing-in ceremony will have hers rescheduled to a later date.

The cause of her arriving late for the ceremony is however unknown.

The five ministers sworn in were; Abla Dzifa Gomashie – Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, George Opare Addo – Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, Emelia Arthur – Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Ahmed Ibrahim – Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare – Minister for Trade, Industry, and Agribusiness

At the swearing-in ceremony, President Mahama reiterated the critical roles and expectations placed on the ministers in ensuring and championing the nations developmental agenda.

He called on them to demonstrate diligence, accountability, and innovation in addressing the nation’s pressing challenges.
