A former member of parliament Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi is set to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary Position.
This is according to NPP’s activist General Buhari who made this claim indicating that is the rumors from Kumasi.
Justin Frimpong Kodua is the current NPP general secretary who presided over the party’s humiliating defeat in the 2024 election.
Meanwhile, Eugene Boakye Antwi has stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has lost its reputation as the “better managers of the economy.”
According to him, this falloff was due to the actions of the previous government under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who allowed Ken Ofori-Atta to mismanage the Ghanaian economy.
Eugene Boakye Antwi emphasised that the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP), which caused considerable hardship for Ghanaian pensioners, was the tipping point.
