President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Felix Gyamfi as Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority.

His appointment was announced in an official letter signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to President John Dramani Mahama.

The appointment was made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).

According to the letter, the appointment is pending the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, which is to be given in consultation with the Public Services Commission.

Felix Gyamfi has been given 14 days to confirm acceptance of his appointment.

The President extended his best wishes to Felix Gyamfi as he takes on this new role to guide the Authority in its mandate of youth development and national service delivery.
