Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has revealed that Emeafa Hardcastle the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Commission apologised to him and later insulted him after the apology.
According to Annoh Dompreh, Emeafa Hardcastle with other women on the appointments committee came to beg him and apologise.
He added that Emeafa Hardcastle after apologising to her while she was leaving in the corridor said if she had insulted him, she had insulted him so they should do whatever they want.
Speaking on Adom FM, Annoh Dompreh revealed, “Most of the women on the appointments committee came to kneel before me to apologise, the woman in question also begged, but interestingly when she left the conclave engagement after begging, there were people in the corridor she didn’t know, she forgot that in parliament I have loved ones there”.
“There were people in the corridor and she said worse, she said if she had insulted me, she had insulted me whatever they wanted to do they should do it. I am a Christian, I was taught to fear God and tell the truth, I will not come and say something that will come and disgrace the woman”, he added.
Annoh Dompreh further stated, “There were a lot of people in the corridor she did not know they knew me, and she said worse, that was what pushed me to activate the appropriate orders. I needed to let her know that if I came to court I couldn’t have behaved like that towards her at court, and she must come to terms”.
“She belongs to the Ghana Bar Association and they have a code of conduct a lawyer cannot conduct yourself like this in public it brings the association and the profession to a dispute”, she added.
