Communications Team Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region, Gabriella Tetteh has expressed doubt over the competence of the Central Regional Minister-Designate, Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere.
According to her, the Ekow Panyin Okyere is not up to the task as Regional Minister and will eventually cause the party to loss its electoral fortunes in the region.
Speaking in an interview, she stressed on the fact that the Central Region is a swing region which needs careful nurturing for the NDC to keeping winning over there.
“Central Region being Central Region as a swing region. There are certain things you don’t play with. We know how we campaigned in the Central Region to take the 18 seats. So, for the Central Region I will make it clear. I am not convinced about this Regional Minister,” she stated.
Gabriella Tetteh added that she is positive the Central Regional Minister-Designate, Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere will be reshuffled within his first term.
“I am not prophesying doom but I am not convinced,” she stated.
Central Regional Minister-Designate, Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere was part of the second batch of Regional and Sector Ministers named by President John Dramani Mahama.
Although he is yet to be vetted and assume office, his competence has been called to question.
Some residents in the region also argue that Gabriella is only making these false claims because she was not named Regional Minister.

From horses own mouth. Mahama has appointed incompetent minister for Central Region. I am not a professor of doom, but I know he will be reshuffled along the way.
