President Mahama has appointed Alan Kyerematen as the acting Chief Director Tasked with establishing the 24-hour Economy Policy, according to information gathered from Angel TV.
The unverified statement sighted on Angel TV stated, “Former Minister for Trade and Industry and flagbearer of the Movement for Change, Mr. John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng has been appointed Acting Director tasked with establishing the 24 Hour Economy Policy due to his wealth of ideas and experience at the Trade and Industry via the Great Transformational Plan (GTP) which he delivered to President Mahama a couple of weeks ago”.
“Mr. Kyeremateng will be responsible for setting up the 24 hour Economy Board and Secretariat, one of the key promises in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 manifesto. The establishment of the Board will be under the direction of the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry”, the statement added.
Kyeremateng had previously worked under the Leadership of President John Agyekum Kuffour and President Akufo-Addo as a Minister for Trade and Industry.
He is also the founder and Leader of the Movement for Change.
