BREAKING: Court of Appeals orders Anas to testify without his mask

Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has been ordered by the Court of Appeal to testify without his mask.

The court has ordered Anas to appear in court without a mask in the ongoing case against former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The Court of Appeal comprising  Justices Anthony Oppong, Ackaah Boafo, and Aboagye Tandoh ruled unanimously on Thursday, January 30, 2025, to ensure the accused person receives a fair trial.

Kwesi Nyantakyi the former GFA president is facing charges from Anas’ 2018 investigative piece, the Number 12 documentary.

Kwesi Nyantakyi in the documentary was captured engaging in corrupt activities.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has already ruled that Anas Aremeyaw Anas must testify without a mask.
