Ghanaian Disc Jockey, DJ Slim has disclosed the true reasons behind the falling out between Stonebwoy and his former manager, Blakk Cedi.
According to DJ Slim, the two were involved in a heated argument which resulted in Blakk Cedi attempting to strangle Stonebwoy in Jamaica.
He disclosed that in 2018, Stonebwoy went to perform at SoundFest in Jamaica and that is where the alleged attempted strangulation occurred.
“Before soundcheck, stage management, artiste and artiste management need to meet. But apparently it was alleged (Blakk) Cedi had met with the stage management and gone through everything,” DJ Slim said on his podcast.
Stonebwoy who later joined the meeting disagreed on certain things Blakk Cedi had already agreed to, “and there and then in the meeting, the attitude of Blakk Cedi changed towards Stonebwoy. It changed to the extent that when the Jamaicans left the room, it got physical between Blakk Cedi and Stoenbwoy. He (Blakk Cedi) was strangling Stonebwoy.”
DJ Slim dared Stonebwoy to come out to deny these allegations.
Blakk Cedi and Stonebwoy split up in 2019 owing to unspecified internal disagreements.
