Minister of Finance-Designate, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has been accused of lying to the Ghanaian public about his work experience.
According to a pro-NPP supporter on X, @Gen_Buhari_the information provided by Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson with regard to his work experience contain some falsehood.
He indicated that claims of Ato Forson having worked as Director of UK-based company Protech Integrated Services from 2003 to 2005 is false.
From his investigations, Protech Integrated Services was formed in 2005 and dissolved in 2013.
This information goes to say that it is impossible for Ato Forson to have been a director of a company that did not exist at the time he claimed to have worked there.
He further disclosed that Protech Integrated Services had only Six (6) staff members from its inception with just one (1) of them being Ghanaian.
“Out of the 6, only 1 was a Ghanaian and he was a Security Manager and a Director for the company. His name was Agyemang Duah Maely,” he wrote on his X page.
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament who is also the Chair of the Appointments Committee, Bernard Ahiafor was also accused of being privy to the falsehood in Ato Forson’s CV.
“NOTE: during Ato’s vetting, the 1st Deputy Speaker who is the chairman of the vetting committee disallowed questions on Ato’s CV. I’m suspecting he knew of this false & misleading information on Ato’s CV,” he added.
