According to Berla Mundi, Hon Afenyo Markin verse Dr Omane Boamah yesterday was intense.

Berla Mundi wrote on X, “Hon.Afenyo Markin vrs Dr Omane Boamah..😬… At this point, Hon. Okudjeto Ablakwa should just print all his social media comments and bring them along for vetting because it will be intense!!! Eeiiisshh….”

Meanwhile, the Majority Chief Whip Dafeamakpor has raised concern over the prolonged nature of the minority leader of parliament Afenyo-Markin’s vetting.

According to the Majority Chief Whip Dafeamakpor, there must be a limit to what Afenyo Markin is doing.

Dafeamakpor stated, “Leader may have an unlimited opportunity to ask questions, but I am so concerned as the majority chief whip, the ranking member cannot take three hours to ask his questions, so if he is saying that he will continue tomorrow, we have to go and come back tomorrow there must be a limit to what he is doing”.

“In any case, we have four other nominees who are waiting, so as the government chief whip I am so concerned about the procedure he is adopting and the government business is affected”, he added.

He further reiterated, “Where I am sitting the calls, I am getting from my government and the party I am under pressure, I am under pressure government business must make progress. The ranking leader who is opposition can say he would vet for three days no”.
