President-elect Donald Trump celebrated his upcoming inauguration with a spirited rally on Sunday evening in Washington, D.C., signaling a return to the policies and promises that fueled his 2024 campaign.

At the Capital One Arena, Trump took a victory lap, highlighting key executive actions he intends to take as soon as he steps into office on Monday, January,20,2025 including the restoration of TikTok, a platform he had previously sought to ban due to national security concerns.

In front of an energized crowd of supporters and incoming administration officials, Trump announced, “As of today, TikTok is back!” The declaration was met with raucous applause from his followers, many of whom felt the platform had been unfairly targeted during his first term.

TikTok, a widely popular social media app among young Americans, had been in the crosshairs of the Trump administration, which had attempted to force its sale to a U.S. company citing security risks related to its Chinese ownership.

With this bold move, Trump sought to address the issue head-on, promising a swift reversal of previous policies.

Beyond TikTok, Trump also pledged to release long-classified documents concerning high-profile assassinations from the 1960s.

He hinted that the public would soon gain access to information surrounding events like the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and civil rights leader Malcolm X.

“It’s time to let the people know the truth,” Trump stated, appealing to his base’s desire for transparency and accountability on historical matters.

the president-elect raised eyebrows with his remarks regarding pardons for those involved in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riots.

He expressed a willingness to grant clemency to those who stormed the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election results.

While Trump has long been supportive of those who rioted in the name of his cause, his comments at the rally were a clear signal that his administration would seek to address the cases of many who are still facing charges.

“I will look at every case, and we will make sure that those who have been treated unfairly get the justice they deserve,” Trump said.

The rally served as a powerful reminder of Trump’s influence on the Republican Party and his dedication to his loyal supporters.

With his inauguration set for noon on Monday, the event marked the culmination of a victorious campaign in which Trump reclaimed the presidency after defeating Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump assured his supporters that his administration would not waste any time enacting changes.

“This is only the beginning,” he declared. “Together, we will make America greater than ever before.”

His supporters responded with chants of “USA! USA!” as they celebrated what they viewed as a new era of leadership under Trump’s guidance.
