Ghanaian business leader and entrepreneur, Afetsi Awoonor has been appointed Managing Director (MD) of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST).
His appointment comes at a time where President John Dramani Mahama is filling various positions in his government to ensure the smooth running of his second term.
Afetsi Awoonor is the son of the late Prof. Kofi Awoonor, a Ghanaian author and poet who was killed by Al-Shabaab terrorists in 2013 during the Westgate Mall crisis in Nairobi, Kenya.
Afetsi Awoonor has experience working at BOST. He was once the Government Relations Manager for the national Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited.
Afetsi Awoonor is a business leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist with almost two decade’s experience leading multicultural teams and turnkey projects at the nexus of public and private sector engagements.
He has managed partnerships across Africa in the structuring, negotiation and implementation of energy and defence technologies.
Afetsi Awoonor takes over from Dr. Edwin Alfred Nii Obodai Provencal as BOST MD.
