The Black Stars of Ghana will come up in their last Group F AFCON Qualifiers against Angola and Niger on November 15 and 18 and Otto Addo has bolstered his squad with three local players.
The last time out against Sudan dashed all hopes of Ghana making it to the AFCON tournament as Kwasi Appiah’s Sudan thrashed them out in Libya with a two goal to nil victory. In his call up and bid to strengthen the team, Coach Otto Addo has made some local players cal up to the team.
The three players consist of two debutants, Nation Fc’s Razak Simpson and Asante Kotoko’s Emmanuel Antwi alongside Samartex Fc’s Isaac Afful. Razak Simpson a defender and Emmanuel Antwi a midfieledr’s individual performance have been impressive with Razak Simpson sweeping five clean sheet at the back for Nation’s FC.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s Thomas Teye Partey and Anderlecht’s Majeed Ashimeru have both been dropped, raising concerns even though Partey made his availability known after late withdrawal last month from the teams qualifiers against Sudan.
