Dr. Bawumia’s concession speech is a historical moment in Ghana’s history, as he is the first candidate to ever do so at the early stages of collation.

In a press conference held at his residence, Dr. Bawumia declared John Dramani Mahama winner of the elections, admitting that “our internal collation proves that John Mahama has won the election.”

“Mahama has won the presidential race decisively,” he added.

Gabby Otchere-Darko after Dr. Bawumia’s concession speech took to his X page to also congratulate John Dramani Mahama.

“Congratulations to President-elect John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress for an emphatic victory. The people have spoken. Democracy lives. Let Ghana be the ultimate winner,” his post read.

Bongo Ideas quickly replied Gabby’s post, saying, “You’ll still be jailed!”
