Ace broadcast Journalist Bridget Otoo has reacted to the news of special voting being rescheduled for Eastern and Western regions.
The Electoral Commission yesterday 1 December 2024, ordered a recall and reprinting of ballot papers for the Eastern and Western Regions after a leakage was detected with the initial ballot papers.
The EC stated this has become necessary after it was informed by National Security that a single defaced paper was taken out of Checkpoint Printing Limited Printing House.
As a result, the Commission has delayed special voting in Eastern and Western regions to Thursday, December 5, before the general election on Saturday, December 7.
Reacting to the news, Bridget Otoo expressed her shock and called on Ghanaians to use their anger to vote against the government as Ghana needs a clean EC.
Her full post on X reads, “Special voting for Eastern and Western rescheduled to December 5, wow! Jesus! Please use all your anger to vote against this government! We need to clean the EC!”
Meanwhile, over 130,000 people are expected to participate in today’s special voting at 328 voting centers in 14 regions of the country.
