A communicator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has boldly stated, they will relocate Akufo-Addo’s statue to his family house in Kyebi.
According to the NDC communicator, they will relocate the statue like how Akufo-Addo relocated the Ameri Power Plant to Kumasi.
Speaking on a live TV show the NDC communicator boldly stated, “We’ll relocate Akufo-Addo’s statue to his family house in Kyebi I will finance, I will hire a low bed, and rent an excavator, we will remove the statue, place it on the low bed, and relocate it to Akufo-Addo home in Kyebi, we will relocate it in front of his family house”.
The NDC man further suggested that the Akufo-Addo government for 8 years apart from his family no one benefited.
He further reiterated, “I am telling you we will do it legally, we will relocate it like how John Mahama brought the Ameri to the Western Region for development, to bring industries to the Western region which he has relocated to Kumasi we will also relocate the Akufo-Addo statue to Kyebi in front of his family”.
Akufo-Addo’s statue is located at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi and was unveiled during his one-day “thank you” tour of the Western Region on Wednesday, November 6.
