The lead Convener of the Democracy Hub, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has said Ghanaians must make sure Ghana is no longer a country for thieves.
According to Oliver Barker-Vormawor, the Ghanaian youth are demanding a new republic and a more just republic.

And if Mahama tries to come and do father for all things, like that knorr the demonstrations go start with full force. We must make sure this is no longer a country for Thieves! The Youth are demanding a New Republic. A more just Republic”.
Oliver Baker-Vormawor has become the face of many protests in the country after his lead role in the Fix the Country Movement and Democracy Hub which has been putting pressure on the NPP government to prioritize the needs of the people.
Meanwhile, the people of Ghana are eagerly awaiting January 7, 2025, when President John Mahama will be sworn in to ensure that allegations of corruption under the Akufo-Addo Bawumia administration are investigated and government appointees prosecuted and imprisoned if found to have committed crimes against the country.
