According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, NDC must recognize that if they do not support President Mahama to succeed their presidential ambitions will be a fluke, and a disaster that cannot materialize.

Speaking to the media after John Mahama’s speech, Ablakwa stated, “Everybody in the NDC must recognize that if we do not support President Mahama to succeed their 2028 ambition, 2032 ambition, 2036 ambitions will be a fluke, and disaster cannot materialize, so at this point, we must all forget about personal ambition and think about how to support president Mahama to succeed”.

“How to ensure that all the manifesto pledges are fulfilled, we have gone around the country and the people have told us what they want us to do, that must be our focus, every other thing must be put on a back burner and must be relegated it secondary our focus must be supporting president Mahama with integrity, competence, with hard work, we must break our backs to make sure the Mahama Jane Naana presidency succeeds”, he detailed.

The Chairperson of Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa, has officially declared John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the President-elect in the 2024 general election.

The EC’s certified results, Mahama secured 6,328,397 votes, representing 56.55% of the total valid votes cast. His closest contender, Dr. Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), garnered 4,657,304 votes, representing 41.61%.
