The presidential candidate of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako boldly stated they have been sabotaged.
According to Nana Kwame Bediako, he must make that clear to Ghanaians.
Nana Kwame Bediako and his team had expressed dissatisfaction with the Electoral Commission’s (EC) handling of the accreditation process ahead of the December 7th elections.
Addressing the press on Thursday, December 5, 2024, Nana Kwame Bediako described the process as discriminatory, restrictive, and a violation of democratic principles.
Speaking after he cast his vote at the Ghana Institute of Journalism old campus, Nana Kwame Bediako stated, “It is probably too early to be discussing that, but it is just important that I make it very clear to the nation that we have been sabotaged”.
Meanwhile, the 2024 general elections are underway across the country as Ghanaians vote to decide their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years with barely 2 hours to go before the deadline at 5pm.
In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
In total, 12 candidates are vying for the presidency, with the front runners being the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NDC’s John Mahama, Nana Kwame Bediako, and Alan Kyeremanten.
