The member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram Sam George has revealed that Ghanaians are shedding 740MW of power across the Country.

According to Sam George, Ghanaians should brace themselves for power outages as the country is shedding just 740MW of power across the Country.

Sam George wrote in a social media post, “We are shedding 740MW of power across the Country tonight. Brace yourself for the power outages. 🦁🇬🇭”

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Dr. Elikplim Apetorgbor has revealed three IPPs plan to shut down over outstanding payments.

This has sparked concerns about the return of power outages, commonly referred to as dumsor.

President-elect John Mahama during his campaign accused the Akufo-Addo Bawumia administration of just holding on small, small to hand over dumsor to the next NDC government.
