President-elect John Dramani Mahama has said Ghana is not immune to coup d’etat as Ghanaians are losing faith in our democracy.
John Mahama noted that his administration will probably be the last chance for politicians to get things right.
According to him, if political elite don’t get their act together then it could result in something that we don’t wish.
John Mahama stated, “This is our last chance to get things right, this administration probably is the last to get things right, or else, we are not immune to coup d’etat, Ghanaians are losing faith in our democracy”.
“If the political elite don’t get their act together then it could result in something that we all don’t wish to happen but we should remember that we need to work to keep our democracy relevant and keep the faith of our people in our democracy”, he added.
Mr. Mahama has also assured Ghanaians he wants to leave a legacy before his retirement.
According to John Mahama, his four-term is a legacy term before his retirement.
