Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Chairman of the “Operation Recover All the Loot” initiative, has assured Ghanaians that the ongoing fight against corruption in government institutions will remain free of political witch-hunting.
According to him, the initiative is founded on evidence-based investigations and a firm commitment to justice.
Mr. Ablakwa noted that fear of retaliation has made many Ghanaians hesitant to report corrupt activities, enabling such practices to continue.
However, he emphasized that the incoming administration is creating a supportive environment for whistleblowers by prioritizing their safety and protection.
Mr. Ablakwa criticized previous administrations for failing to ensure accountability, accusing them of enabling corruption by establishing systems that protect wrongdoers and branding some as mere “clearing agents” rather than advocates for transparency.
He rejected claims of political bias in the initiative, insisting that only cases supported by solid evidence would be addressed and vowing that anyone engaging in unfair practices would face consequences.
Expressing confidence in the initiative, he assured that its outcome would withstand scrutiny and contribute to advancing the nation’s interests.
