A viral video has surfaced of two soldiers being attacked by NDC communicators at a polling station in Obuasi East constituency.
The two fully armed soldiers attempted to visit the polling centre during the ongoing 2024 general elections, but when confronted by an NDC communication officer who demanded they leave the premises.
This led to a physical altercation between the two soldiers and the NDC party member.
Meanwhile, the 2024 general elections have ended across the country as Ghanaians vote have decided their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years.
In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
In total, 12 candidates are vying for the presidency, with the front runners being the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NDC’s John Mahama, Nana Kwame Bediako, and Alan Kyeremanten.
