Jamaican dancehall recording artiste, Vybz Kartel is scheduled to hold an event dubbed ‘Freedom Street’ concert scheduled for December 31st, 2024 in Kingston Jamaica.
Vybz Kartel has lined up a long list of artistes set to grace the stage with him and thrill patrons with quality dancehall tunes.
Amongst the artistes billed for the show is Ghanaian Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale.
Days to the event, Vybes Kartel has dropped a short video, mentioning the names of music acts billed for the event who had been designed on a tour bus.
This bus featured the picture of Shatta Wale and Vybez Kartel got the Ghanaian dancehall king’s name right on point.
The video which was shared on X has generated some buzz in Ghana as netizens are in a frenzy.
Reacting to the video, some Ghanaian X users claim Shatta Wale being the only artiste from the country’s dancehall genre billed to perform in Jamaica means the rest cannot call themselves dancehall artistes.
