A video has surfaced of President-elect John Dramani Mahama celebrating his victory in the 2024 elections with some local delicacies.
In the viral video shared on Facebook, John Mahama was captured enjoying roasted plantain (kofi brokeman) with some groundnuts and coconut toffees with some other people.
John Mahama stated, in the short video with excitement, “What they use to do with coconut, Plantain, all the things we used to eat when we were kids, ehh kofi brokeman”
The Chairperson of Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa, has officially declared John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the President-elect in the 2024 general election.
The EC’s certified results, Mahama secured 6,328,397 votes, representing 56.55% of the total valid votes cast. His closest contender, Dr. Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), garnered 4,657,304 votes, representing 41.61%.
