Spanish professional footballer of Ghanaian descent, Nico Williams, was surprised by a fan with a box of powdered fufu.
The youngster who plays for Athletic Bilbao was filled with joy upon receiving the gift from a fellow Ghanaian.
The Ghanaian who was waiting in the tunnel for Nico after a game engaged with the player in the Ghanaian Language (Twi), asking him how he was faring.
Nico responded in Twi he was doing fine and asked about the wellbeing of the Ghanaian who gifted him the fufu.
In the video posted on X, the Ghanaian can be heard saying, “I have a small gift for you. I know you like fufu.” Nico receiving the package squealed “Yie” with a smile on his face and proceeded to say “thank you” in Twi to the Ghanaian.
The Ghanaian man added that the fufu was meant to give him power.
Weeks prior to this presentation, the Williams brothers brothers were seen enjoying fufu specially prepared for them by their mother.
